Paneer Kalimirch is a creamy white gravy based curry where Soft cottage cheese is cooked in a creamy black pepper sauce .
Did you know: Black pepper stimulates our taste buds by sending an alert to the stomach to increase hydrochloric acid secretion which is necessary for the digestion of proteins and other food components in the stomach. Choosing this ingredient to make a yummy and creamy Panner based dish is the wisest decision I took for lunch .
But I have a major confession to make here that I am not a paneer fan but have cooked numerous paneer based recipes as my sonshine @adarshdas cannot get enough of it .since he is away from home , Paneer consumption has reduced a lot , however certain dishes like this Paneer Kalimirch still finds a place in our menu because the beauty of paneer is its muted flavor which perfectly adopt the flavor of whatever spices it’s cooked with.
This dish is slightly hot from the black pepper which balances the sweetness and creaminess from the cashews. Pair it with homemade warm rotis or naan to create a yummy wholesome meal.
